Much harder than units 1/2?
A lot of remembering or more understanding?
is there a lot of writing?

To answer your first question, no I don't think so. Most of the concepts in Units 1/2 are repeated again in Units 3/4. Units 3/4 just goes into more depth and detail. As for your second question, I think it's a bit of both. VCAA changed the study design this year to move students away from just ROTE-learning information. It's more-so applying what you've learnt to the question; not just regurgitating information. If you get a solid understanding of the concepts, then remembering information won't be difficult. I think for SACs there is a lot of writing. Especially the "10-mark" questions; which needs a structure to it. The key to doing well in this subject is knowing how to answer the question succinctly to get the marks. It's a challenging subject due to the amount of information you need to know/remember, but at the same time, it's rewarding when you see things click together.
