Title: Participation Marks

For arts subjects, are these just a first year thing or do they continue into 2nd and 3rd year?

Tute participation? They tend to continue, depending on the subjects you do. Not sure about arts but for Uni Breadth (Drugs that Shape Society for example), tute participation is worth 10%.
