Title: Existing physics podcasts?
Post by: Chromeo33 on June 28, 2011, 11:04:07 pm
Do you guys know of any existing physics podcasts? Like a "Douchy-type" podcast (for Biology)?
My teacher is really horrible, I was hoping I could find a 'second teacher' in the form of my iPod for physics.

Any help would be great, cheers :)

The Khan Academy videos are quite good, quite a few of the topics covered in 3/4 physics are covered there.

The Sixty Symbols (University of Nottingham) covers a few topics, but for the most part they're irrelevant. Still interesting though.

There's also http://vcephysics.podomatic.com/ and  http://mhsphysics.podomatic.com/. I didn't really like those though.

Otherwise just search for the topic you're interested in Youtube. It will usually come up with videos of university lectures which can explain quite well.

There'd be more out there, but the Khan Academy ones are the ones I watch most (but are a bit more oriented to solving problems rather than theory).
