Ok so if we have a bar magnet with its north end entering a solenoid the induced current will go such that to oppose the change in flux that caused it. What if we have the south end entering like in the diagram, which way would the current run? Could you show your steps ty

x to y
a North pole will be induced next to south and a S at right of solenoid
b field goes from N to S
therefore current goes from x to y using right hand rule
