However long it takes to get from the city to either Huntingdale or Clayton station (I have no idea how long this would take, I don't do trains), then another ~15-20 mins while you wait around for a bus.

From bus loop to city, you're probably looking at anything from 35-45 minutes depending on the time of day

When I was catching buses/trains/walking 2 uni, the "Flinders Street Station to Monash Clayton bus loop" section of my journey took roughly 40 mins.
I'd say BA22's estimate is dead-on with the 35-45 min thing, if trains/buses do indeed leave/arrive on time.

Pakenham/cranbourne line to Huntingdale station or Clayton station. I don't know which is better on average for going to monash uni, I get off at huntingdale because one of the connecting buses from there continues to my house.

From huntingdale - 900, 630
From clayton there are a few 7xx routes but I don't know them.

Basically from either of these train stations you have a few km to the campus, connecting buses are frequent maybe every 5-10 mins when you add up all the different routes.

There are no trams out here :P :P

It'll be so nice when they get the Rowville rail line going.

I don't know why people are suddenly kicking up a fuss about it.
The lands been set aside since the 60s. It's not going to be done any time soon.
The new 900/901 routes are a godsend and connects us with the world.
