Title: Calculator use question
Post by: dshban on January 10, 2009, 02:40:09 pm
Hi all. I'm trying to do some holiday homework and I'm having a bit of trouble. I'm trying to do Exercise 1.2 in my textbook (Heinemann VCE Zone, blue-ish colour in case people have a different one and can't help), specifically how to find measures of central tendency and measures of spread using my graphics calculator. The calculator the book uses is different to the one I have - I have a TI-89 Titanium graphics calc. I'd love it if someone could tell me how to input lists of data into my calculator so I can be given the values (mean, standard deviation, etc) to make a boxplot without having to figure them out myself.

Thanks in advance!

I can't find anything called flashapps, so I don't think that's it - I see you did Further last year, what calculator do you have? It might be different to mine. Thanks though.

If you dont have stats list editor, just install it on to the calculator using the cd. It probably is on there, just press the apps button and look for the stats list editor icon. If you dont have icons, press mode, then F3 and press apps desktop and press on.
