OK I'M NOW VERY CONFUSED.
My first preference was Commerce at UoM... Didn't think I got in but it appears I might have. However, this is what the website said:
38101 & 92332 Commerce & Arts (Communication, Journalism and Psychology)
FIRSTLY melbourne doesn't do double degress SECONDLY I never put arts down THIRDLY like everyone that has my surname seems to have this degree...
DID THEY MAKE A MISTAKE??? This was from TheAge website

The course offered at Swinburne is a scholarship course for Bachelor of IT where you need to do interviews and stuff also, for Engineering you need 95ish to get the Vice Chancellors Scholarship.

Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship – Engineering
Prerequisites: Minimum ENTER of 97.00.

Don't think so. I'm happy that I'm doing a double degree which allows me to triple major. Although if I'm unhappy at Monash I'd consider it. Depends how first few weeks go.

i got my first pref :) yay... but Its going to be like an hour trip there every day. meh.
I read in the paper that the number of people who put Melb as a preference dropped by a couple of percent this year, and Monash's number of applicants rose quite a bit.

That would be quite useful (it would mean I wouldn't have to make a thread). I'm the only one from my school who's going to a particular university. I wonder how many others are in a similar situation.

My friend is trying to call monash uni by the student line. No one's picking up. His problem is that he'll be overseas on the date of enrolment, and he hasn't put in a proxy when applying through vtac...so he wants to know whether it's possible to do it now.
Anyone knows what to do?

The enrolment can only be organised by the uni, so apparently vtac can't do anything more.
He has a pre-enrolment this thursday, so he said he'll try then unless he gets through.

It looks like the scores have dropped a little. Recently I emailed Swinburne asking what the ENTER was for a certain course and it was around 82, and today I look in the paper and the cleary-in and fringe ENTER are around 72/73 ?
Atleast this gives me a little more hope

(it says I live in Warranwood but i don't but meh. close enough :)
