Received a 26 (scaled) for my English score, even though GA1 C+, GA2 B and exam B.

Is this due to a poor cohort or does it seem to be correct?

Only reason I'm concerned is that on the last two GATs I received a standardised score of that in the top 26% of the state, although it is the GAT I thought it may be a fair indicator on where my writing is at and was pretty upset at first when receiving a score so low.

P.S. The C+ was only just under the next grading if I remember correctly (if it makes a difference).

What was your raw study score?

A raw score of 30-31 for the grades you got sounds about right.

May have been that the overall competition in your year was pretty strong (i.e lots could have gotten A's).
But hey, at least its over 25!
