Does anyone know roughly how many positions are available for external and internal transfer into LLB at monash? or my chances of successfully transferring from bcomm to bcomm/llb with just a 75% avg? what about a 80% avg.

thanks!

The truth is that you really can't know, as it's gonna vary depending on the number and quality of applications for transfer in any given year.

History tells us that 75% gives you a shot and 80+% gives you a real fighting chance.

My friend got in with a 72 average after a semester of uni. Initially they didn't accept her but 2 weeks later they called her up and said she was accepted. I think if you transfer this early into your degree they consider your ATAR too, which is supposedly why she didn't get through the first round (keeping in mind she was already a law student and just transferring between degrees.. so maybe they were more lenient or not.. idk)

I second this. For transfer into 2nd semester, they look at a combination of your uni marks (average) and your ATAR score. For transfer at the start/end of the year, they look purely at your uni average marks. My friend finished Deakin Law 1st year with 72 average and transferred into LLB/Arts.

I would like to point out at monash you need to have completed 48 credit points which is a years worth of studying to transfer into law. Meaning you cant transfer after 1 semester. Not quite sure about transferi g between law double degrees.
I transfered with a 77% average so 75% may just make it.
Number of transfers varies every year, no way of knowing.
