Yes - but it's not 100% necessary. You can have good pizza without it.
Anyone put pineapple on after cooking? (assuming some people make there own pizza dough etc :p)

agreed. pineapple does not a good pizza make (but it can help!)
i've never heard of anyone putting it on after! (i'm assuming you do) is there a reason?

I never thought this was even a debate. Maybe I'm just used to it then. Pineapple on pizza is awesome~! It gives it a tangy taste and livens the pizza up. Especially if it's lightly toasted and warm. mmm...
