someone pls explain how draw the Vin and Vout from( vin and time and Vout and time)

I posted this in a earlier thread today, so ill just copy it here:

Oh yeh and this is using the VCAA 2010 exam Q9/10 as an example

  • First you would note the the amplifier in inverting (so it will have a negative gradient)
  • Then you would note that the input is clipped at 5seconds which corresponds to +/-200mV
  • Also the output is clipped at +/- 10V
  • Then you would work our your output and input scales (remember they both have to be in V not what they have given you for the input mV)
  • Now once you've put it your scale you can mark the points (-0.2v (input) , 10v (output)) and (0.2v (input) , -10v (output)) as theses points is where the clipping will occur
  • And finally you can draw a straight line connecting these two points and also a horizontal line at +10v for all the values less than -0.2v on the input axis and a horizontal line at -10v for all the values greater than 0.2v on the input axis which denote that the output voltage has been clipped
