Semester 1:
- Introductory Microeconomics
- Quantiative Methods 1
- Finance 1
- International Politics (breadth)

Semester 2:
- Introductory Macroeconomics
- Accounting Reports and Analysis
- Principles of Marketing
- Internet Meets Society (breadth)

This selection of subjects allows me to complete either a BUSINESS MAJOR or a MAJOR IN ECONOMICS + MARKETING

What do you think?

I don't exactly know what you're looking for in terms of feedback...

It looks fine to me. :/

be careful that you have enough prereqs to do at least 1 3rd yr breadth subject. i think you should replace finance 1 with ATA

I think you should do ARA in semester 1. If you end up liking it, you can do ATA and Business Process Analysis in second semester, if you want. Also, if you do ATA and QM1, you can use that to get into Business Finance instead of Finance 1. You don't need Finance 1 in order to major in Finance, as Business Finance is the prereq for the level-3 subjects.

So how about...

Semester 1:
- Introductory Microeconomics
- Quantiative Methods 1
- Accounting Reports and Analysis
- International Politics (breadth)

Semester 2:
- Introductory Macroeconomics
- Finance 1
- Principles of Marketing
- Internet Meets Society (breadth)

Would this allow me to major in BUSINESS or ECONOMICS + MARKETING or FINANCE MAJOR?

To meet the breadth requirement you need to do at least 1 level-300 breadth subject. These subjects often require prerequisites.

In order to satisfy the breadth component of your degree, you need to take a min. of 75 points (6 subjects) outside your faculty. At least one of these subjects has to be a level-3 subject. These usually have prerequisites. With your other breadth subjects, you should use them to fulfil these prereqs. For example, in order to do taxation law, you have to do corporate law, and in order to do that, you have to do business law. Just make sure you have enough space to be able to do that level-3 breadth subject.

For eco you need:
intro micro
intro macro

inter micro
inter macro
intro econometrics / QM2

micro
macro
econometrics / basic econometrics
level-3 economics elective (if you want to do honours)

For marketing:
Principles of Marketing

3 level-3 marketing units

9 + 4 = 13 for your majors

additional compulsory subjects: 2 (QM1, Org. Behaviour)
core program electives: 2 (taken from your first year outline)
mandatory breadth: 6

2+2+6=10

10+13=23. Hey, you've got one to spare!

EDIT: Didn't see the finance part.

Finance:
Finance 1

Business Finance

Investments
Corporate Finance
Derivative Securities

9+5=14

14+10=24 units. Hey look, it just fits.
