Trying to log into Portal...

Ummmmm........currently at my cousin's place and I want to log into the Melbourne Uni portal.

However I don't know the format of the username. I remember it was something like j.smith3


I know my password.
I went through the 'Accounts Registration', typed in my student ID and DOB, to try and see my email, however as I don't have my libary barcode, I am unable to check my account.

For me (and I assume everyone), your portal login is not the same as your email.

Mine is first name, middle initial, last initial, so John M Smith would be johnms. Try that?

Mine's first name initial then last name. So for John Smith, it would be jsmith.

The username I use to log on and my actual email are different, though. My email goes something like [email protected].

Yep, it's first name then initial of second. Thanks for the help, everyone!
