Thank youu.

You can do science@UoM too (lower ENTER requirements), but biomed is preferred as the undergraduate course that precedes graduate Medicine.

If I was to do Science instead of Biomed, would it be harder to get into Med? Like, do they prefer Biomed students?

If you do Science, I know you have to pick the right subjects (ie. pick the subjects that Biomed students do). I'm not sure whether they will discriminate against Science students but I don't see why they would if you've both done the right subjects and fulfilled the pre-requisites.

yeah i heard you can do any degree but with the right prerequisites...?

If the science students and biomed students do the same subjects, wouldn't it be the same course in a way? :S
Edmund:
To clear any doubts, students aren't selected for Graduate Medicine according to their undergraduate degrees. A list of prerequisite subjects for Science students to do can be found here. Biomedicine students won't have to choose the right subjects because they are all included in there core subjects.
I did not get into Biomedicine but chose to do Science instead and will have to do the 3 prerequisite second year subjects next semester to apply for MD. I just completed first year Science and found the subjects much more general (and covering a wider range of areas) compared to the Biomedicine subjects. Well, that's for first year but I'm not sure about 2nd or 3rd. If you are thinking of applying for some Health Sciences course in the future, Biomed would be good, if not, Science like me. :P
