Breadth study considered minor?

Hi guys

Currently enrolled in Bachelor of Science. I've chosen utilize my breadth studies to take a stream of subjects in the Arts area. My question, if i were to follow the guidelines that the Bachelor of Art website shows for completing a minor in a certain subject, would i be entitled, after graduation, of having a minor in that stream, or would it just be considered a clump of art subjects?

I ask this because, most majors/minors in Arts, require you to do a general foundation arts subject, and as much as i don't mind doing it, it wouldn't be a first preference if it wouldn't gain me a title of a minor. Which in another question, would it prove useful at all, in having a minor in something, compared to "i did a stream of arts subjects"

And another quick question, is 6 the maximum breadth subjects you can do?

Thanks all =)  :D

8 is the max (for commerce, anyway). I'm not sure of whether it would be called a minor. I remember going to a language info session, and I think I remember the guy saying 'equivalent of a minor', but I don't remember him saying it was actually deemed as such.
