Booked tickets for Australia vs. Sri Lanka at the 'G.

I reckon it was a pretty poor effort by both teams yesterday. Kohli played pretty well, but everyone else still looked rusty (after 2 months in Australia?).
Australia will dominate tomorrow.

Any thoughts towards yesterdays game?

I'm particularly interested in anyone's opinions about Xavier Doherty's 2-24 from 10 overs on the WACA pitch. (So much for a fast bowler pitch :P)

That was good, but not completely surprising since Ashwin had some success too :)

What surprised me is the huge amounts of "slower-balls" McKay bowls per over! I think there was an over where he bowled 5 slower-bowls off six and left batsmen bamboozled! Great stuff imo :D

good match. Sri Lanka played well, prevented Aus from gaining a bonus point important for us Indians.
Goes to show that the Australian team is beatable if you persist and play intelligently.

Always has to be a hero and a villain, I guess Mckay's the villain and Dhoni's the hero...

Should've pulled McKay out at 3-14 off 6 :P

Ah well, good job India, should make an interesting series.

best cricket game since world cup final.
and once again Dhoni stars again!

awesome bloody game! awesome bloody six! awesome bloody bottom hand power!
btw notice similarities between tonight and world cup?

game was determined in last over, and mainly won cause of the six , and no ball!!  and it was dhoni who won it again!  gambhir scored 92 as well! world cup it was these 2 who largely put in as well!

Haha, only because India won ;)

But it was a great game! The last few overs in the Indian innings were really exciting and good to see Gambhir get some much needed runs too :D

Dhoni!!! so close so close.

The match was still awesome though! I'd say that it was better than the Aus vs India match, thrilling until the final bowl!

Cricket discussion is over for me this summer. *sigh* Why does Australia have to start losing after I book tickets?
