hopefully tommorow will be something like two birds with one stone!
1. Sachin's Hundred.
2. Australian humiliation.

I think Sachin should focus on India winning a game with him in the team first! I don't think they've done this yet :P

really?! thats a strange statistic, but you can't be too harsh on him, i feel as though when ever he has been going on the pitch to bat, he has the weight of the billions of Indians on his shoulders. This doesn't mean that he has never performed against these expectations before, but when you have your have so many people focusing on this one exceptional achievement of scoring your hundredth hundred you'd have butterflies in your stomach for every ball you face.

Something about his batting seems a little off to me. He doesn't seem his normal fluent self. While you're probably right in stating that it could just be the ridiculous amount of pressure he must be trying to cope with, I reckon he might just be getting too old for this. He seemed a little slow (well, a tad less awesome) during the Tests as well. But, I hope for his sake, that he gets the hundred against a quality team.

Does anyone see the similarity to Bradman here? The Don retired with an average of 99.94... Sachin may retire with 99 hundreds...

the funny thing is that i had thought about the similiarity for every single test that has been played.
but i thought myself out of it, partly because of absolute admiration for Sachin and my desire to see him break that milestone.

I hope he gets soon :D

No way. With two white balls being used in ODIs, full TEAMS are struggling to get 300. You'd have to have an insane strike-rate to get there  (unless you plan to fully hog the strike and face like every ball), just not possible imo.

Two white balls. I love that idea. I like low scoring matches!

Me too! It gives the bowlers more of a chance, which is great to watch imo :D

India got dominated by Christian and Hilfy. Good performance by everyone except the skipper.
