need help with this question, katrina believes that a linear rule can be established between foot length and shoe size. she measures one of her own feet and it is 22cm long. her shoe size is 6. her sister emily has a 20 cm long foot and a shoe size of 2. establish the linear rule for calculating show size x from foot length f

just consider those 2 info as coordinates on cartesian plane

so we have (6,22) and (2,20) , find the straight line which goes through those 2 points :)
notice it's (6,22) not (22,6) because it says "calculate show size x FROM foot length f meaning, f is the y value and x is the x value

don't u mean f is the y value?

nope isn't f x value?

f is the preimage and x is the image

but if the points are (6,22) and (2,20) shouldnt x=x and f=y?
