the amount of unreacted dichromate in in a test solution is ditermined by colorimetry.
Aqueous solutions containing the dichromate ion are ORANGE in color. The colorimeter available for analysis can be fitted with a orange light source or green. State which of these light sources you would use for this analysis and give an explaination, why?

thanks ppls

green cos it is complementart to orange. it will absorb green the most and hence give a orange colour
