When midsemester test results take longer than a week to come out:    ??? -> :-\ ->  :( -> :'( ->  :o ->   >:(

When a lecturer acknowledges they have made a mistake in a MST question, but then justifies the mistake and makes no amendment to the marks.

I actually remember nothing from last year biology and this test mishap, probably for the better it seems!  :P

Physiology managed to drag my MST score down a fair bit unfortunately...

Was looking back at some of my lecture notes I made from swotvac last semester that are related to my mid semester test tomorrow and I found this:

"Cortex: Contextualizes the significance of events to generate stress

E.g. You fail the exam -> social implications/your life is ruined/wont get a job -> Generates stress/fear "

What swotvac does to you...

2012-2014. BSc: Neuroscience. University of Melbourne.
2015-2018. Doctor of Optometry. University of Melbourne.

Unlikely to respond to any PMs these days.

That "short answer" (why they call it that beats me) phys question was an absolute joke. Not well written at all and relied on far too many assumptions. One of my friends found it on an old phys exam (the exact same apparently) and showed it to one of the med students and even they thought it was a joke.

Only just noticed the break down then...nearly everything came off phys and I'd put money on it that all of the phys marks I lost came from that question fuuuuuuuck

Not looking forward to it, already watching Charles.

Yeah same here, I was able to full mark Anatomy but lost marks on the physiology short answer. Who knows what assumptions he makes in his funny little head. I think we'd be hard pressed to find anybody who aced that section.

Pretty sure it was physio that fked me over during HSF last year. Anatomy was nice and straightforward. Wish it was like science and the two things were separate subjects instead of one clusterfuk. Really disliked the whole 2 subjects in one thing for biomed. Guess it was nice to be exposed to a lot of things but fuarkk twice the stuff to learn for tests and exams and the topics weren't always related to each other.
