Lost one mark in the MCQs (bloody SDL2) and one in the short answer (no idea here, probably lacking detail.)

Not complaining though :P

Pretty much the same stuff as estimation. If you can, try to track down Sharon Gunn's tutes, she explains things quite well. You don't really need to know how the formulas are derived - just know how to use them.

And didn't even know Bmed ball was today...haha. I'm a bit sick at the moment anyway. :(

There's a lot to EDDA that I just don't understand. We have a new lecturer whose English is quite poor, and while I am not blaming him for my lack of understanding, I definitely feel it has accentuated my confusion. I do most tutorial questions or problem set questions with a real struggle. I've been told though that this subject is one of those that eventually clicks in the end, so I'll just keep persisting.

Unfortunately Sharon Gunn isn't tutoring this semester. :(

Did anyone go to the assignment feedback session for Cardiovascular Health yesterday? Just wondering whether anything helpful was said since it doesn't seem to have been recorded.

I didn't go neatfeet, but that assignment was the worse thing I have ever done. I assume you feel the same?
I did well in the mid semester test, and I haven't done that terribly in any assessment since about year 8 of school probably!
I almost had a heart attack when I got my mark back!

So it sounds like they did a terrible job of either marking the assignment, or had unreasonable expectations of students. I will make sure to put that in the survey at the end of the year.

How 100 people can fail an assignment is absolutely beyond me...especially considering most of the students doing this subject are doing so because they enjoy physiology, or are good at physiology. This isn't 1st year subject that people are being forced to do as a prereq...

Everyone I have spoken to is upset with their mark  :o

Surprised the avg Pharm MST mark was 28/40...that's even lower than Microbes, which had an avg of 30/40. It wasn't that bad I thought.

Does anyone when the lifts to the 2nd floor of the Sydney Myer Asia center become accessible to students in the mornings? Is it 8 or 8:30? I just need to pop in tomorrow to submit my homework in one the lecture's pigeon holes up there.  :)

Pretty sure stairs only take you to level 1. Every time I've gone to level 2 I've had to take a lift.

Unless the stairs are hiding somewhere.  :o

there are stairs but they're for emergencies and staff i think. they are kinda hiding, you can go down them but the doors are locked one way afaik.

floors above first are supposed to be accessed by lift, and you can go up there at any time :)

Reproductive Physiology had an average of 55%... I'm going to reiterate this in a subject review once the semester's over, but damn that subject is bad.

Ah man i'm so worried for this subject, I mean thank god for the online quizzes.
I really believe that mid semester exams are not suitable for having short answer questions. That format can only be effective if individual feedback is provided to students, which isn't feasible considering the number of enrolments per semester.

UH YES THANK YOU
I hate that we get no individual feedback, at all. I keep on missing a few questions from each quiz and would love to know which ones - even if they don't tell me the question again, just the fact that it was testing, or which slides I should go over.
Plus I just feel like there has been way too much information presented in a jumbled way. It's sometimes hard to link facts between lectures.
I did the lit review quiz today - WHY ON EARTH IS A LIT REVIEW BASED AS A TEST ugh this subject, I s2g :/

The spread of results (which he put up in the lecture) shows that it was bimodal(ish) - lots of people got H1s, lots of people got Ps/Fs (about 30% H1, 20% F, 20% P) then not as many people got in the H3-H2A range.

Yeah, I was quite surprised when I got my mark back too, and I haven't met anyone who was pleased with how they went. It seems marks were taken off for a lot of little things, like not putting your name on the actual document :/  100 people is a lot, something must be wrong since so many of us struggled. I wish the review session had been recorded, it would have been helpful for those of us who couldn't make it in on such short notice.

Now I'm worried for the other assignments :(
