I was looking at the summer semester timetable for FNCE20001 Business Finance, and there's this random week of no contact hours (19th to 25th January).

What's the week-long break for? The mid-semester test? Or, like, an actual break?

EDIT:
For the rare soul that comes upon this post seeking an answer to the same question, here is the answer: the week is dedicated to the mid-semester test and also acts as a short break after the test.

To anyone who has done/did ESD2, how did you check whether your answers for the past exams are correct or not?

I've got literally no clue how to do a fair few of the questions...

I was just wondering for Physics for Biomedicine, do they scale your lab marks according to your exam score and if they do, how much could they alter the results?

You will need to be logged in with your student email account and there isn't always consensus on the answers...
I'm happy to try and help though.

Oh God, I didn't even consider this as a possibility. If that's the case, I'm fairly certain I'm failing. :/

it was alright, I was expecting it to be more of the format of 30007, not soo many short answer questions! :/ my timing was off, so rushed through some of them :/ how'd you find it?

I thought it was pretty good. I felt a bit rushed too, even though I finished with 10 mins to go.
I felt like these was a lot of questions, and if I didn't have a "rushed" approach, I wasn't going to finish it!

They told us last year that they would scale lab marks, but I have no idea how much they altered our results.

I've heard that in the past, but I'm not sure. I've also heard that the EDDA exam has a buffer, and our lecturer sent us all a rather assertive email that there won't be a buffer for our exam, and that there's never been a buffer in the EDDA exam before. So confused. :S

Meanwhile my Italian exam was pretty cruisy as usual. As I've said before, if you're looking for a language breadth, look no further!
