Is there a way to remove a subject?
and
Do we have to select subjects for semester 1 or both semesters?
Yup, at the page where the study plan is, you can see 'subject withdrawal screen'. It's under 'Step 3'
And both semesters :)

Anyone know of anybody who knows much about the 2nd year Chem subjects?

Reactions and Synthesis seems really counter-intuitive to learn before studying Structure and Properties...

And Prac Chem 2 is a ridiculous amount of contact hours...

Anyone got any goss?

I have a couple of friends majoring in Chemistry. I get the impression that 2nd year chemistry is quite a heavy workload and a significant step up from 1st year. Said friends spend much more time studying now than they formerly did and while they're interested enough in Chemistry to get pleasure out of what they do, they admit it's tough.

Naturally it will be easier if you really like Chemistry.

Sorry for not being able to say anything of substance here.

Do we have to attend any tutorial for Principles of Business Law or just the lecture?

Contact hours: 2 hours per week (lecture?), plus voluntary consulting. So tutorials are optional?

Has anyone completed either Brand Management or Consumer Behaviour? Trying to finalise my breadth selection and am not sure which one to choose! :)

I can't enrol into Japanese 3 and 4 in my study plan, because it says I don't have Japanese 2 prerequisites
I completed VCE Japanese and I have to wait until o-week to do my placement test to see which level I'm put into
Would I just leave the subject there as planned and then enrol next month?? Even though it might clash with my timetable for my other subjects..

Haha you weren't available for the previous placement test? It was the day after AAD (yeah I know they didn't give us much notice at all). Yeah I guess the best you can do is to have Jap as planned. Maybe try emailing that department, they may be able to make an earlier date for you. You just have to say you aren't available on the 27th of Feb :P   They actually scheduled the placement tests so badly for Jap...

Yeah lol, it was pretty much late notice -.-
Oh okay, nah that'd be too much hassle, I'd just wait until o-week haha. Guess I'll probably get the worse times for lectures at that time zzz
Thank you :)

^ Same about French placement tests. It's not letting me enroll into French 5, but from how I understood the handbook, I thought my VCE results would be sufficient.. as it says a placement test OR a study score of 36 or greater etc. I was just gonna ring them up tomorrow but does anyone have experience with this?
