1. Do only expats live in the residential colleges at Melbourne University or are there normal local people who want to live alone?
2. Are people generally really nice at Melbourne Uni, coming up and talk to you out of the blue? I was walking around having a look and some really cute girl introduced herself, told me what she was doing etc. and felt quite silly when I told her I was in YR12, as well as another person who walked me around melb uni because she thought I was lost - it was just unusual and refreshing because people in Australia just get on with their own shit and ignore you.
3. Do you actually make use of everything that seems so awesome at MELB uni like a hairdresser, foodworks, gym, pool, athletics track etc.
4. What kind of clubs are there? Motorcycle club?
My VCE 2014 Goal is to not end consciousness ... and a respectable ATAR.

So it begins.

1. There are local people who live in colleges. Certain students get pissy about this though, because people miss out on college places and the cost of it etc. Seems overly lavish to some.
2. You get all sorts of people at UniMelb. With more than 30,000 students, you can expect to get a very diverse community. People are really nice the first few weeks and o-week in particular. You yourself will find yourself nicer.
3. No. You just procrastinate out of it, apart from the crêpe joint and Zambrero.
4. UMSU will tell you
2013-15: BBiomed (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology), UniMelb
2016-20: MD, UniMelb
2019-20: MPH, UniMelb
2021-: GDipBiostat, USyd

I do like to live dangerously ;) I know my pols stuff quite well though through personal interest/extra-curriculars, probably more so than a lot politics students.

Yeah, based on the textbook AusPol doesn't seem that onerous at all...

I used Textbook Exchange in Semester One but I just couldn't be bothered organising things and bought two of my books full-price :D
Also I'm not doing Human Phys OR RBP, but there seems to be a lot of common concepts between Comparative Animal Phys and Human Phys. I think I'm going to do Reproductive Phys in 3rd year so I will eagerly await your review :D

I'm also pumped for Engineering Computation.
Scribs you are insane, also you are so good at the mathematics yet you are most interested in tissue eng, not biosignals or biomechanics! I love your subject choices and wish I was up to speed with the sciences enough to be able to take them this year.
