I thought it was of similar difficulty - I think the reason why it was generally perceived to be more difficult was due to the fact that we didn't get a week off for study like we did for the first mid-semester test.

Technically, we had our last examinable lecture today! The revision stuff has made me realise just how much work I need to do though. :/ And please don't even talk about exam 2. :(
Make sure you know how to draw your diagrams for the cell bio part :P

With exam B for MCB, were the integration questions divided up into parts? Like part a), part b) etc. pulling from different aspects of the course?

I'm pretty sure this is what was mentioned in the MUHI lecture yesterday, but I just wanted to confirm...

thanks!

Yeah, pretty much. Like there would be an entire question on inflammation for example. Part a would ask you about the cytokines (from immuno) etc and part b would ask you how neutrophils or lymphocytes get into the tissue to kill cells (so path)

Glad that the uni separated 2nd and 3rd year subjects in next semester's class registration. Looking forward to (hopefully) no downtime when logging on for registration. :)

Yeah, I understood the general premise of putting it in that section, it just seemed ridiculous ;)

Yeah it's pretty weird seeing as how it's covered in lots of detail in immuno anyway.

Also jesus. Our final exam for Principles of Immuno only has 60 marks, so losing one mark in short answer will take 1% off our grade. :'(

Woohoo! Our BIOM20001 cohort did better as a whole on MST 2 compared to MST 1 and we improved on last year's group results! (I know Robb told us not to brag, but I'll take the small win for now :P ).
