Pro study tip: make a schedule of what you're gonna do for every day up until your final exam. Keeps you motivated to stick to your plan and breaks down the whole study process so things don't get overwhelming. Only problem is that things get pretty bad when you fall behind on your schedule....

In addition to that, what I find really helpful is the good ol' pomodoro technique. I've been doing 30 minutes of work with a 5 minute break and I downloaded an app to my phone called 'Clear Focus' which times it automatically for me and lets me known when its break time and when its study time which has been super useful for me and is making the technique more effective than before for me as well!

Does anyone who has done Biomolecules & Cells (BIOL10002) have any practice Section D questions for the exam/knows where to access them from?  :)

Haha great minds think alike, I too have a checklist which I'm slowly but surely working through. ;) Problem is that there's so much I went to get done each day it's still nuts haha, but I guess the key is to take it one day at a time.

Last year the sample exam had seven section D questions for practice, which is more than what there is on the actual exam. If I recall correctly you should also have a couple of other ones from tutorials and workshops, and if your tutor is nice they might be able to create a couple more for you. In addition, it's a great idea to make up your own questions for practice - if it seems overwhelming to create questions for almost every topic get a group going where you create a couple of questions each and swap them around. That way you spend more time practicing and less time creating questions, and you can also learn from your friends - whether that be from direct feedback or from you reading their work. Most tutors would be happy to read your work as well, if they have the time.

I haven't actually done the exam as I wanted to leave it as the last thing I do, but thank you, I will definitely look over them now! My tutor never had enough time to look at exam questions so I guess I will have to start preparing some of my own... Thanks a lot! :)

Study tip: If you feel really tired and like you don't want to study anymore instead of going for a walk, listen to upbeat music or(preferably-if you're at home) dance  ;D

(vivid memories of dancing around my school's study room to the mitosis song and boney m.'s rasputin)

I know how you feel. I remember once I got into the exam though I was surprised as to just how much I did know. I can only hope the same will happen to you. On the bright side, you won't have to worry about it next semester.

Hahaha yes I disagree, for reasons I have stated over and over and will not state again. XD I got one mark higher in Physics than in Chemistry as well (although they're my bottom two results), so perhaps that will make some first years feel better.

.____. I was contemplating going back into the mainstream pathway so that I can do physics but if it's anything like the tragedy that was Chemistry then I don't want to anymore
