Need help with Expository Essay on Identity and Belonging!!

Hey Guys,

My prompt is 'Our sense of belonging can be a comfort or a prison'

I want to begin with a general identity and beloning quote but unable to find one!? any suggestions?

For this I need to incorporate evidence from the Film Witness - I've got some points such as Rachel being part of the Amish community and that being like a prison but unsure what my 3 main points could be?

Ok ummm....
With her being Amish, there's the fact she can't leave, to stay with John Book, so prison.
Visa versa with John Book not being able to stay because he doesn't belong.
John book after being with the Amish doesn't belong there but doesn't belong in the city really either, like he can't be comfortable because he will always be worried about other cops being 'bad'
