What a pathetic question...you'll never get such ambiguity in an exam.

Characteristics could refer to: classical conditioning, NS, UCS, UCR, CS, CR, dog, bell, history

just clarifying... coz i didnt really know if the teacher meant that or acquisition,extincition etc

It's possible but direct reference to PAVLOV experiment indicates more the elements of it.

If I were you I'd mention the processes too! :)
