Strategies are the means to help implement the specific functions of Human Resource Management.
What the resource manager wants to achieve is the organisations goals.
To be successful in achieving the goals, the HR Manager must put in to practise, strategies.
These strategies include:
- the process of recruitment. How are they going to attract the best people?
- selection policies. How do they select the best person for the job?
- rewards/recognition. How do they motivate staff?
- training/developing - Which skills will improve the staffs productivity and satisfaction?
etc etc.
