HELP. my teacher sent the wrong marks to vcca

What should I do? I got 95% on one of my sac, which is the lowest score i have gotten this year for business management.. but my teacher sent it as 85% to vcaa...  which drops my ranking from 2nd to average.. I cannot afford to lose silly marks in this subject considereing most people are doing well in it. Can my teacher contact VCAA and tell them of the mistake?

Yes I don't see why not. Final marks are due much later so there's no major reason why they can't be amended. All the best with it

I found out because my teacher made a graph of our sac marks throughout the year too see our progress for everyone in my class... if she cant change it through vcaa she said she could give me extra marks for my next sacs.. are all the sacs from unit 3 & 4 combined at the end? if not my ranking will be terrible for unit 3 if this isnt changed

Oh hold up... unit 3 and 4.. I'm pretty sure they're two graded assessments and maybe unit 3 marks were due a while back. There should still be a way to change them, surely. While that's the next best option I'm not sure if that screws up with VCAA's data in any way :S

The handbook should cover this. I am sure there would be a way for amendments to incorrect data to be made.
I wouldn't put up with your teacher trying to do round-about fixes, I'd take this to the principal and VCE coordinator and try to get this fixed.

It seems that Unit 3 coursework is "SIAR 2".
The admin dates has this listed:

Friday 9th March 2012 - "notifying the VCAA of alterations to unit results for students who attempted the VCE or VCAL in 2011. A late fee will be charged after this date"
- "principals to lodge Score Amendments  for school-based assessment completed in 2011"

There are forms for late amendments for 2010 Unit results in there (though it refers to Unit 4 results). There must be a similar form for 2011 Unit 3 results somewhere. Again, I strongly suggest go to your principal or VCE coordinator and make sure this gets sorted out. It's clear that it is possible to get Unit results fixed.
