internal transfer to biomed/law

Hey guys,

I'm a first year doing Biomed at Monash this year, and I'd like to try to transfer to Biomed/Law next year.

Just asking to see whether anyone has gone through this process before and what they had to do in terms of filling out that application form. I mean, what do they want from you when they say 'reasons for applying'? It is supposed to be a more emotional 'I've always wanted to do this' or something more calm and concise, if that makes any sense.

Thanks!

I can't remember what I wrote on mine... i think i said something like wanting more breadth to my degree wanting to challenge myself in diverse range of areas and other stuff like that. I honestly doubt they give it more than 2 mins of their attention just to make sure you're literate or something. As long as you have the marks they should let you in, after all its more money for the uni.

also biomed/law is tough stuff so good luck with that. I've found that combining degrees that work on continual assessment with degrees that set fewer assessments but worth more marks gets very hectic. you spend a lot of time on all the weekly shiz that you just run out of time for the big stuff...
