Angular acceleration questions

I know given the unit 3 exam has come and past, nobody wants to even hear the word forces, but if anyone can help i'd greatly appreciate it!

For the swing, work out the total net force and from that find acceleration, use the fact that angular acceleration is a/r where r is radius to find angular acceleration

Hmm have you done torque? t=Ialpha, where I can be approximated by Mr^2 in this case...
