English 2010 Statistics

I just checked out the 2010, English Exam statistics. Its showed, that to recieve A+ you had to recieve just over 78%. So in reliality 3 x 8 on your exams. Realistically with A+ GA 1 and 2, and 48/60 on the exam, what kind of SS would you be expecting? How about 52/60 in addition, and lastly 54/60.

Thanks.

My estimate is:

48/60 = 40
52/60 = 43
54/60 = 45

^does that mean SAC marks dont really matter?
a mid-high ranking would be enough for that estimation?

I'm averaging around a high B+ on my sacs inschool and asked my teacher for my possible study score. Apparently, with an A on the exam, she said I can get a 37 and maybe 38...
This sounded a bit unrealistic to me, but taking into account that my cohort is weak and I am of above average rank(not high up there), is it possible?

They definitely do matter :) A+ on GA 1 + 2 is at least the top 15% of the state, and I was assuming it was somewhere in the middle of that 15% in my (very rough) estimation.

@ Melucky  - I think that's about right, maybe 1 or 2 lower, realistically. As you go away from the A+ scores are less spread out. Not sure what a B+ means exactly at your school, but I think you're on the right track :)

Logically speaking, it well depend a lot on the strength of your cohort, cause in stronger cohort, some schools tend to mark harshly, force people to work harder, and come exam time the marking will in actual fact be more lenient then the SAC marks, so on paper the exam result are very high, which in turn results in B+ SAC marks going to A+. At least that's happens at my school, and I think the same happens at Melbourne High?
