But, it's true) with DECV... so I guess thats enough.... It's good you pointed out the whole 'I can do it later' thing - i'll make sure i don't let myself do that... but, well done with philosophy... guess i'll just focus on my maths and sciences and english for now and pick up the humanities subjects in uni when i've already 'secured' my future.... can u do that with med?? assuming i make it :P

There are plenty of schools that have DECV programs, as many cannot get the numbers - especially in rural schools. Biology by distance seems very doable to me; from my knowledge, biology is a lot of memory. Yes, it is a good idea not to propagate the attitude I had. Thank you :)
And I believe at Monash Clayton (if you do medicine there) you can do humanities electives. Similarly, the University of Melbourne offers your breadth studies where you can pick up humanities subjects.

My school doesn't actually have a DECV program, i just took the intiative to do it... my parents aren't too thrilled :P , $800 per subject...
Yeah, monash medicine -lifelong dream - if i make it, i will definitely stack up on the humanities electives :)
Mech:
I do not remember my subject costing that much, but we had a fair few people doing distance education subjects. Well, best of luck and remember not to be lazy like I was. :P
Mariammm:
yeah well if you're at a government school you only pay $175... if you're at a private school- like in my case, you pay $800... and thanks :D

Heh, I never got the privilege of a private school. Enjoy!
Mariammm:
if i was that that privilaged, i wouldn't have to do two subjects outside of school... actually, at a government school there would be the numbers to open a biology year 11 class or put in with the year 12s and spesh... its just the whole 'religious', 'christian education' my parents wanted for me...
