On tests I am doing bad, either just passing or failing?

I understand 70% of the course but don't do well on tests. Should i drop the subject when i am really keen for doing methods 3-4?

Don't give up. I think if you do tests over and over, you'll get familiar with the format. If you can get it, that's good. Try some application questions in textbooks.

If you love something, don't give up. Never. You're more likely to get a good study score on something you love than something which you're doing just as an ATAR boost (well, if you like methods 3/4, it probably does both -- but still.)
