Hey, you know the CD that comes with the calculator? Yea... I've installed it a while ago and now it wants me to activate it again.. and it won't let me :|.... Doesn't the CD gives you free Student Software like forever? or is it just a trial? Is there an alternative way to updating the software?
I'm not sure about the student software, I went to install it the other day, just to realise I don't know where my key for it is. I've got the computer link installed though, and thats how I got the screenshots. I jsut had to have the Ti-nspier plugged in while I was making the documents. Sorry that I couldn't help.
EDIT: Seen laseredd's post.
This is a tad off topic, but i asked the Texas Instruments Customer service if they could send me a new key as I didnt have the one included with the calculator, or the computer link software to update my CAS, and they sent me a new key. I had to email them a picture of my calculator with the serial number easily visible.
On Topic: Nice work with the guide. I think you should add:
You can sketch functions such as {x^2+y^2=1,(x,y)} by typing into the graphing screen
zeros(x^2+y^2-1,y)it might be helpful for sketching weird graphs where they swap x and y or something.
