If i had a second chance at year 11, I would have tried harder at the start of the year too Nd been more consistent with my sacs :( and also would have deactivated facebook and not neglect my 1/2s as much. And also do further as well as biol for 3/4 subjects to experience what an end-of-yr exam only subject would have been like.

1.) would've challenged myself - instead of doing esl i would've done literature.

2.) be smart enough to not do three 3/4s in year 11, or at least tried hard with those subjects.

3.) not do further maths, because further = complete waste of time.

but all in all, no regrets. what's done is done.

1. not chosen year 11 economics - i got really good grades but it was so boring and i didn't understand anything!

2. didn't do year 12 legal in year 11.... worst subject choice

3. should've done literature instead of economics in year 11, so i could've continued on in year 12

4. done either further 3/4 or english language 3/4 as my year 11 subject, so i could've covered the three englishes in 2 years and not gone overboard with 3 in one year

I would focus heavily on English. You can ace everything, then die from English poisoning

-Do VET Cisco
-Do Psych, or any subject really, in Year 11 instead of having frees at the library
-Do Uni Maths instead of Physics
-Not neglect English
-Go to a Chinese school with a stronger cohort

although i havent finished vce, i did chinese 3/4 last yr and i totally agree with that last point.  :(

Noted.

If I could re-do year 11, I would do a 3/4 subject so that I have 6 subjects in total, not 5.

Like a lot of others, I would've paid more attention to English. I probably wouldn't have completed so much coursework during the holidays; it wasn't as beneficial as I thought it'd be. D:

No, not for English. I mean across all of my subjects. Actually, I hardly did any English coursework over the holidays. :P

It's never beneficial to do lots of coursework through the holidays, you're usually rushing, it's so much better to do just the first topic, i.e. Text Response for English, Functions for Spesh, Motion for Physics...etc. and to get that nailed down and perfect rather than sort of sketchily doing the whole course

I realise that now. At the time, I was under the impression that if I did more work I'd be able to reinforce my knowledge when the rest of the class would learn it, and that I'd have more time overall for revision. It didn't exactly work out as I had planned..
