8th - bio
10th - physics
14th - marketing
17th - stats

Pretty lucky considering the nightmare timetable I had last semester :P

Yeah but that condensing is because we're meant to 'know stuff already' (lel).
I dont even want to guess the % recall for info learned in second year :P (without revision that is). I doubt the pre taught stuff will be consistently delivered throughout external uni's just for the sake of MD aspirations, it should be taught from scratch alongside clinical skills (to a smaller degree in early years)

Why would they teach the prerequisite content again?

You'll find that by the time you get to where I am now, you can look back at the stuff you learned in 1st and 2nd year and not require a complete understanding. As long as you appreciate the concept of gibbs free energy, you can understand why <concept X> that you're currently learning is the case. So you won't need to remember the details, just the basics of biochem/anatomy/physiology.

I misspoke, obviously it would be senseless to teach the fundamentals of chemistry and biology in a medical course. I meant that the course should make reference to pre-requisite knowledge where appropriate and not structure it so only those intimately familiar with said knowledge are able to understand the origin and functions of whichever major medical concept.

Yeah I guess. The general feeling coming out of the first year is that it's pretty full on, but I'm not sure how much of that is due to it being a medicine course and how much is due to it being only 1 year preclinical. From memory, second year is split between clinical and coursework, so you're still learning theory as you go.

Although a quick look at the major topics makes me think that quite a few of them don't really need that much of the prereqs
