last years language analysis..

have any of you had a go at 2010's language analysis, did anyone find it difficult?
i didn't even know what it was saying.. i have done all the articles from my manual (book) and there all so straight forward for example, junk foods leads to obesity.

It's certainly more subtle, however like the VCAA Assesment Report said they want you to take a holistic approach and the techniques are certainly there it's just a matter of identifying them. Don't get hung up on the technique, instead just quote the persuasive phrase and be specific with it's effect
