Honestly I think it's open now but I'm not 100% sure - if you go to the enrol thing it lets you get in :S Haven't tried further though.

Spoke to the student centre:
-The guy repeatedly said that technically you are not allowed to do a level 3 without 50 points at level two, even though the system will let you do this
-Arts students that have only done one IDF may be able to get rid of it by request, even though it shows on the study plan. I think this only applies to people that do not have IDFs as a major prereq though (i.e. Linguistics does, Psychology doesn't for me) :S
-People probably already know this, but anyway: you have to enrol for the whole year but you can change sem 2 later on.

Anatomy is quota restricted to about 400 students per semester because the dissection HALL can't accommodate so many practical streams

You can change sem1 as well, up until timetable release dates I guess.

Actually it'd the the census date, wouldn't it?  Or technically, you could if you didn't want to change it but only drop it, any time is good if you're fine with financial liability for the subject and a fail grade, if applicable and you left it that late.

You can change any time before census, but practically speaking doing it after the timetable opens is a bad idea
