 two questions:

In the further maths exam 2 do you need to show working out if your answer is right?
and in the questions that relate to each other do you need to plug in rounded off numbers that you answered previously or do you need to use the full number from the calculator? i hope that makes sense. ty

1. No, as long as answer is right you will get full marks. If answer is wrong and you havent shown any working you get 0. If answer is wrong and you have shown working then you could still get some marks. So you might as well show working out.
2. Both is fine. I would use the previous rounded answer.

I would use the previous rounded answer.

hmm because when i use rounded off answers such as angles to one decimal place i end up geting marginally different answers then if i use the full angle from my calculator with things such as the cos rule. does vcaa take this into consideration, like do they have two sets of answers for each question?

1. 1 mark = no working out out required.
2 marks +, im pretty sure you need working out even if you your answer is correct.

2. I would use the full answer before rounding.

A method mark is generally rewarded.
