well hi everyone
i'm a student from a school, well to be honest, that isn't great when it comes to studies
i got a D+ for chemistry for mid year, due to that i was emotionally affected
resulting in me averaging D for unit 4 sacs
i was just wanting to know, would it still be possible for me to get an A+ for end of year exam
and get a study score of more than 30
please answer

Hi,

Here is some statistical information:
http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/vce/statistics/2010/section3/vce_chemistry_ga10.pdf
It is for 2010 but for comparison purposes it is quite a good reference.

Make sure you read it properly, there are three pages and it is easy to get them mixed up.

Take a rough estimate of your exam mark + SAC scores out of the total.
On average, a 30 would equate to a C+ for exam 1, B+ for SACs, and C+ for exam 2.
Now take the midpoint of each of these scores from the table, add them all up.

Compare what you need to get to get to that score.

Good luck.
2014: Microbiology/Immunology Major.

Multiple times: pi, Russ, stonecold, TT.

Oh, also realise that the scores in that are doubled, due to the marking scheme of VCAA. You can halve them to make it more comprehensible if needed.
