For the creating presenting section, would 400 words be sufficient?

400 is too little, it would lack depth and ideas. You really need to discuss things in detail to get the high end marks and of course stick to the prompt.
Try to get 700 at least.

I'd say minimum 800 for a respectable grade. 400 words is what, one A4 page?

Yeah I can see where you guys are coming from. I just struggle to think of stuff to right about which isn't a repetition of what i have already written. I am most likely going to write a piece about 9/11 in the exam, and I just reach a point where the stuff I am writing has no depth.
