study score question

Hi everyone, I was wondering if I lose only 1-2 marks in exam 1 and about 7-9 in exam 2 what study score would I be looking at? I'm not ranked very high in my school in the top 20 % of students, averaging a low a. My cohort if a little above average I would say, nothing amazing.

It depends on your sacs I guess but I would agree with mattshen, Methods is really tough on making mistakes in the exam, since everyone knows how to do the exam. It just depends on how many mistakes you make.

ahh, okay, thanks for replying. How does it depend on my sacs? I get the mistakes bit, I think my silly arithmetic mistakes will be the end of me sigh.

Yeah I'd think around 42-43...

Losing 1-2 in Exam one is like a mid A+ right? (Cut off is like 37?) and Losing 7-9 would be close to a mid A+ (Cut off is like ~68, though it has fluctuated quite a lot in the past few years)

I don't think SACs mean as much as the exam. I'm probably no where near the top in my cohort but I still have aspirations for 45 :P

I've heard that on average it's 1 (or was it 2) mark(s) = 1 study score, which is why its important to minimise the mistakes!

But don't worry, just work hard these next few days and do your best for the exam! :D

Yeah, that similar to what I heard. Only 4 days left to go!

I'm aiming for a 40 raw, but I doubt I will get it. But be positive I suppose.

Goodluck to you in your exams :)
