NEAP 2011 Trial Further Maths Exam

Has anyone else done it ? I'm about half way into Exam 1, and found  Number Patterns particularly hard generally having quite a bit of difficulty. In comparison to Heff, VCAA it is harder. Is it worth doing ? :S

I'm doing it at the moment too. I found the core a bit tricky :S, but was still do-able. Graphs and relations were half half, i still have business maths and matrices to do, but so far i think it's harder than vcaa

Yeh core was slightly. Lucky ur not doing number patterns , i found it pretty tricky :/

i have the neap book for further and it is much harder, but i think worth doing

way harder than the standard. as usual with neap

Definitely worth doing though as it can introduce you to possible discriminator questions. If you don't struggle with the basics and have done the vcaa ones its the way to broaden your knowledge

I have the neap book and the questions they ask can be somewhat demanding of your knowledge and can really push you to expect the unexpected when it comes to exam time. A great idea to write some of these questions and tricks into your bound reference in case VCAA decides to throw a few odd ones in there.
