just wondering if anyones actually thought of drawing up a compass in their bound reference for like a MC bearings question. you can just draw the information on the paper, using scales of course (5km=5cm) and than work out the angles that way. I tried it today and it worked. the MC answers are fairly spread apart anyway. Is this even allowed cos i would imagine it would be a pretty neat 'back up' incase you fail to do it mathematically.

Exam 1 this would work. What about exam 2 when they require a mathematically calculated answer? Is it really worth leaving it up to a drawn compass?
