Thanks ,LOL yeh it was extremely boring, but was forced to do it. my class finished the course 3 months ago so the teacher made us do an exam every lesson and sometimes we had to stay after school to do one. Good luck to all you guys, hopefully we all keep the silly mistakes to a minimum :)

Can someone please explain VCAA 2010 Core question 3 to me. no matter where I look at it I don't know how to answer it. Good luck to everyone tomorrow

Graph is bell-shaped so to find 68% of the graph you add the %'s up together. This 68% is found to be in the middle and by adding the highest %'s we find that it's approximately 68% at the intervals (178,182)
SD => 2SD = 182-178  => SD = 2
therefore answer is B

Hope that helps sorry if i'm kind of confusing :(
