Just wondering if anyone thinks its a good idea if your confident with the course to just bring in your big purple text book to refer to only for formulas, instead of wasting time making a bound text book.. i havent started my bound text so its too late for me but ive done plenty of prac exams which ive found more benefitial i think..

Your formula sheet would be attached to the exam so rip it out during reading time

my bound reference is pretty much my textbook photocopied.
i didn't bring the textbook itself because i find it annoying to flick through so many pages (through exercises and other modules) especially when all my modules are separated from one another (as in, they're not consecutive). so i'm sure you'll do fine with the textbook. there will be a formula sheet too.

well not necessarily, i mean i wouldn't memorize the formula to find out the gradient of least squares regression through standard deviations of both data for example. i would check my bound reference for that. doesn't mean that i haven't studied hard enough, i just have more important things to fill my head with.
