The link above will guide us through the strengths and weaknesses in relation to the 2010 Exam paper.

Just a query, this has been on my mind lately and doesn't know how to engage the question if it were to come up in the exam for business management:

1. Compare and Contrast (Similarities and differences) between Maslow, Lockes and Hertzberg's Theory.

2. Corporate Culture is the shared belief and values within the LSO. It is reflected and engraved in the LSO's mission and vision statement. Corporate Culture will mainly focus on customer focus, environmental awareness, ethical behaviour and sustainability factors. What are key indicators that will identify and/or differentiate OFFICIAL corporate culture and REAL corporate culture.

Tnx in advance ^^

Official and real... haha, never heard of those terms before in my life, I'll have to ask my accounting teacher (person that writes BM exam) if it's required tomorrow (i.e. in the study design)

really?!

Are you certain that the official and real is not in the study design?! I saw this question on some of the practise exams and this was run through by TSFX lecture....

Anyways, Could you please supply me with more detailed and in depth contrasting between the theories if you don;t mind?

How's study for BusMan Exam btw?

Official culture is what is viewed to the public for example, "telstra, making life easier." and real culture is what actually exists in the LSO and its not seen to the public some indicators of the real culture is dress code, work hours etc.

hope that helps

"Real" culture can also include things like and staff attitudes recognition schemes. But basically "official" culture is what is set out in its mission/vision statements, and real culture refers to the way in which the organisation operates on a daily basis.
