Module 2

Question 1

b. ii. The scale factor is (1/200)^2 * 60 which = 0.0015 meters^2. According to both the assessment report and itute, the answer 0.0015 meters^2 = 15 centimeters^2. But isn't 0.0015 meters^2 * 100 = 0.15 centimeters^2?

Also Question 2

d. i. How is the TSA 208 meters^2?

Where does the assessment report get the 2 * 18 from..?

(10 * 6) + (2 * 6* 2.2) + (2 * 10 * 2.2) + (2 * 3.4 * 10) + (2 * 1/2 * 6 * 3.6) = 220 meters^2?

0.0015m^2 x 100 x 100 = 15cm^2
It says its meters squared so if you want to convert it to cm^2 you'd need to multiply it by 100^2
Either way the question didn't ask for cm^2 so 0.0015m^2 would've been accepted wouldn't it..?

2bii.
1m^2 = 10000cm^2

Therefore, the 60m^2 = 60000cm^2
60000/200^2 = 15

d.
2[4.8] +68+26.4+44+60 = 208m^2

Oh god, I had OM as 3.6 in the diagram and 1.6 in the actual question. -.- sorry guys!

And wow I completely forgot about multiplying by 100^2.

Thanks heaps!

I've also got a question about Matrices Question 4 - nevermind, I'm an idiot for over-thinking.
